Bang Bang Sauce

  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/2 cup sweet chili sauce
  • 1 tbsp hot sauce (or more to taste)
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1 tsp salt

Instructions

  1. Prepare the chicken: Cut the boneless, skinless chicken thighs into 1-inch cubes, ensuring uniform size for even cooking.
  2. Marinate the chicken: In a large bowl, combine chicken cubes with olive oil, paprika, garlic powder, kosher salt, and black pepper. Toss well to coat and marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes to enhance flavor.
  3. Make the Bang Bang sauce: In a separate bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, hot sauce, honey, and salt until smooth and well combined. Set aside.
  4. Skewer the chicken: Thread the marinated chicken cubes onto skewers, leaving small gaps between pieces for even cooking and air circulation.
  5. Coat with sauce: Brush the chicken skewers generously with some of the Bang Bang sauce before cooking.
  6. Preheat air fryer: Set your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) and allow it to preheat for a few minutes.
