Ingredients

Scale

Fudge Base

  • 2 cups mini semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 (14 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
  • 8 ounces chocolate almond bark
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract

Topping

  • At least 10 Cadbury Creme Eggs, halved lengthwise

Instructions

  1. Prepare Baking Dish: Line an 8×8-inch square baking dish with parchment paper to prevent sticking and set it aside for later.
  2. Cut Cadbury Eggs: Open each Cadbury Creme Egg and slice it in half lengthwise, preparing them for topping the fudge later.
  3. Combine Ingredients in Double Boiler: In a double boiler over the stove, combine the mini semi-sweet chocolate chips, sweetened condensed milk, chocolate almond bark, unsalted butter, and salt.
  4. Heat and Stir Fudge Mixture: Heat the mixture over medium heat, stirring regularly to combine and prevent burning.
  5. Adjust Heat and Continue Stirring: When the mixture is nearly melted, stir continuously and reduce heat slightly if necessary to avoid scorching.
  6. Add Vanilla Extract: Once the fudge mixture is completely melted and smooth, remove from heat and stir in the pure vanilla extract.
  7. Pour and Top Fudge: Pour the hot fudge mixture into the prepared baking dish and immediately press the halved Cadbury Creme Eggs onto the surface.
  8. Cool the Fudge: Let the fudge cool for approximately 30 minutes at room temperature, then cover and refrigerate for 2-4 hours until fully set, or leave it on the counter at room temperature for 4-6 hours.
  9. Cut and Serve: Once set, cut the fudge into 16 equal pieces and enjoy your rich Cadbury Egg Fudge.
  10. Storage: Store fudge in an airtight container at room temperature for 2-3 weeks to maintain freshness.

Notes

  • Using a double boiler prevents the chocolate from burning during melting.
  • Press the Cadbury Eggs into the fudge while it is still warm for better adhesion.
  • If you don’t have Cadbury Creme Eggs, similarly sized chocolate cream-filled eggs can be substituted.
  • Allow fudge to fully set before cutting for clean slices.
  • Store fudge in a cool, dry place to avoid melting or sweating.
