Ingredients

Scale

Salad Ingredients

  • 16 ounces mini seedless cucumbers
  • 1 cup Parmesan cheese, shaved
  • 4 ounces bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 1/2 cup Caesar dressing (or to taste)

Toasted Breadcrumbs

  • 1/2 tablespoon salted butter
  • 1/4 teaspoon panko breadcrumbs

Instructions

  1. Toast Breadcrumbs: In a small skillet, melt 1/2 tablespoon of salted butter over medium heat. Add 1/4 teaspoon of panko breadcrumbs and toast, stirring regularly, until golden brown. Remove from heat and set aside.
  2. Prepare Cucumbers: Slice the mini seedless cucumbers into thin slices about 1/4 inch thick. Transfer the sliced cucumbers to a large mixing bowl.
  3. Toss Salad: Add 1/2 cup of shaved Parmesan cheese, 1/4 cup of crumbled cooked bacon, 2 tablespoons of the toasted breadcrumbs, and the Caesar dressing to the bowl with cucumbers. Toss everything gently but thoroughly until well coated with the dressing.
  4. Garnish and Serve: Garnish the salad with additional shaved Parmesan, remaining crumbled bacon, and the leftover toasted breadcrumbs for extra crunch and flavor. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • Use mini seedless cucumbers for optimal texture; regular cucumbers can be used but may have more seeds and water content.
  • You can substitute bacon with turkey bacon for a leaner option.
  • Adjust Caesar dressing quantity according to taste preference.
  • For a vegetarian version, omit bacon and use vegetarian Caesar dressing.
  • To save time, prepare toasted breadcrumbs in advance and store in an airtight container.
